That depends what you mean by a soundproof room. Are we talking 'child with a superscream that can burst eardrums' soundproof or 'recording studio' soundproof?

Recording studio should work. Recording studio that someone random wouldn't just walk into. So... off the beaten path or something.

My first suggestion would be to use one of the holodecks. They can produce a lot of noise themselves but you can't hear anything on the other side of the door. People can just walk in, but if you put a sock on the doorhandle or something, that should dissuade most people.

One of the holodecks. Okay. That might work. [ she could just have someone guard the door, take shifts. stefan will probably be trying to find anyway out of this. but they have to do it. to bring him back to not!ripper!stefan. she pauses.] Any other suggestions?

There's a room just a little further down the hall where I store furniture, but the sound might carry. The elevator's too small, shuttle bay is invite only, or you could use one of the rooms on the higher floors, choose a number between fifty and two fifty, and you'll probably have the whole floor to yourself. Hopefully. Nothing like fifty floors of spaceship to muffle noise.

Unoccupied rooms will open to anyone. That's the problem with moving, the only room that locks just for you is the one with your number on it. There's a lot of us on One with doors that don't lock.
