[ Nathan scowled at him. This was odd. No, it was more than odd; but Nathan had to feel sorry for being so hard on him when Peter slumped into the chair. He's been hard on Peter during his most difficult moments before, and it hadn't done him any good at all, only distanced him from Peter and made life that much harder. He needed his brother, and Peter needed him.

With a sigh, Nathan poured Peter a coffee and pushed it across to Peter's knuckles, letting him feel the warmth of it against his hand. ]
